Department of Human Rights, Pancasila and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika
PERINMA has a role as a means and forum in efforts to defend the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. One focus of its activities is the prevention of extremism on the basis of religion or political ideology or whatever, against Indonesian communities wherever they are. This department designs and implements all programs related to human rights, and preservation of the ideology of Pancasila and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika which means “Unity in Diversity”.
Arif Harsana

Arif Harsana, Dipl.-Ing., was born in Sleman, Indonesia, in October 1945. He is an Indonesian engineer who has lived in Germany for more than 50 years. He pursued his engineering education and earned the degree of Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.-Ing.), which became the foundation of his professional career in engineering and project management. From 1981 until his retirement in 2010, he served as a Project Leader (Projektleiter) at Jäger GmbH & Co. KG, a company now known as Schlatter Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Arif Harsana is recognized as one of the Indonesian exiles who established their lives in Germany. His life experiences have fostered a deep commitment to human rights, democracy, and social justice. For many years, he has closely followed human rights developments and actively supported various humanitarian and advocacy initiatives, including campaigns organized by Amnesty International. In retirement, he continues to contribute as an observer and advocate of human rights issues while enjoying his personal interests in reading, light exercise, and cycling.
